About

I fell in love with crystals and stones at a young age. Being so colorful and shiny they just caught my eye and my interest. As I grew so did my fascination. The more I collected I had to sell some to keep my collection growing. Growing my collection meant I wanted to know everything about each different stone. I attended Indiana University, and none of my subjects really motivated me. During college I worked for many crystal dealers. After 15 years or so of collecting I knew what I had to do.

I attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to follow my passion. After 3 years I graduated with all five diplomas that they had to offer, earning my title as a Graduate Gemologist.

After GIA I moved to Denver, CO and worked for jewelry artist John Atencio where I got “hands on experience” with designing and working with high end jewelry outside of a school setting.I finally made my home in Jacksonville, Oregon where I continued working with jewelers around the area for years and decided I wanted to concentrate on appraisals.

I’d love to help you with all your jewelry needs. Feel free to call me at 541-292-8582
